Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy, just in case you ever need to identify it. I have it at my house in the mts. in NC and also at my house on the lake in FL. It likes disturbed areas and can either show up as a ground cover or climber. . . in climbs to the top of the highest trees in the Smokies.

Early in May, Columbine is found on the roadsides near our home in NC...the intricacies of the bloom never fail to amaze me

Wildflowers

These are the orange jewel weeds, very pretty!

I took a short hike today to ID some local wildflowers....this one is so numerous on our property, it's called Jewel Weed, or Touch-Me-Not, and comes in a pretty orange color, as well.
